Eva Marie Schueller, 86, passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2022. Eva was born on March 14, 1936, in Davison, Mich. to Harold and Dorothy (Bossardet) Amidon. Eva married her lifelong love of 68 years Gerald “Jerry” Schueller on Oct. 23, 1954, in Davison. Eva spent all her time caring for and raising their six beautiful children. Eva enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, collecting and admiring Native American art and jewelry, spending time with her family including children and grandchildren. She loved going to and finding treasures at garage sales, attending mass and church functions. Eva was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Cottage Grove, and of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Veneta. Eva Marie Schueller is survived by her six children, son Mike, daughter Kimberly, son Nick, son Pat, daughter Annie and daughter Fran, sister Nancy, 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Gerald “Jerry” Schueller. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Cottage Grove on Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. with an internment following at Fir Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Eva Marie Schueller’s memory. Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
