Henry Albert Crafts Jr. was born to parents Henry and Virginia Crafts in Springfield, Ore. on Nov. 4, 1958. He graduated from Thurston High School. He married Cathleen Wray on Nov. 23, 1979.
After various jobs at the Sizzler, Rodeway Inn, Safeway and Hamilton Construction, Henry began his long career, on June 21, 1984, working for the City of Eugene Airport, in airfield maintenance. After being diagnosed with dementia, he retired from the City on May 31, 2016.
Henry enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, gardening and getting together with family and friends.
Henry is survived by his wife Cathy, daughter Sonja, sister Brenda, brother Marvin, son-in-law Preston and granddaughters Arabella and Brianna.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 14 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 525 66th St., Springfield.
