Kendall Myers: July 7, 1990 – Nov. 21, 2020

Kendall John Myers, 30, of Springfield passed away November 21, 2020 in Michigan. Kendall was born in Jacksonville, Fla., on July 7, 1990. Growing up in a military family, Kendall got the opportunity to experience many places before settling in Oregon. Prior to living in Springfield, Kendall lived in Coos Bay where he enjoyed playing a variety of sports, skimboarding at the beach and swimming up the river. Kendall spent part of high school at Marshfield High School before moving to Springfield where he graduated from Thurston High School in 2008. 

After graduation, Kendall took courses at the junior college while working until he began working for his family’s business, S.W.A.T. Towing. Kendall will be remembered for his sense of humor, bright smile and his great love of sports, specifically the L.A. Lakers and University of Michigan football and basketball.

A celebration of life will be held on July 10, 2021, at Loon Lake (campground #70), which was one of Kendall’s favorite places.

Kendall leaves to cherish his memory his mom and stepdad Carrie and Tharon Larson; stepdad Travis Hacker; three sisters: Melissa Myers and Marcus Heyer, Marcella and Eric Smith, Hannah and John Croyle and step-brother Chase Larson; three nephews: Braylon and Bentlee Heyer and Cooper Croyle; grandparents: Barb and John Schanick, Cathy and Glen Hacker; great-grandma Betty Holmes; uncles Pat and Mary Dowell, Mark Hacker; aunt: Cheryl Griffith; several other aunts, uncles and cousins; friends: Cory Coleman, Tim Autele and Honey Ah Sam; and his beloved dog Cheeka. Kendall was preceded in death by his dad Clyde Myers II; great-grandparents: Shirley and Bob Boone; uncle: Billy Dowell; auntie: Margie Ah Sam; cousin: William Dowell; and best friend Derek Jones.
