Sherran Rochelle Weeks: Dec. 9, 2020

Sherry was a delightful human being who always put a smile on your face. Her quick wit and mildly bawdy stories brought laughter to all. Ever the lady she was charming, captivating and very proud of her appearance. Sherry treasured her home and her accomplishments. She had been a model in her younger years and later became an outstanding watercolor artist. Sherry was known throughout the community for the many beautiful rose bushes she had and for her baking skills. She often brought her cakes to various potlucks and church functions, wanting to make a contribution. She was steadfastly independent and could be a bit challenging at times but was grateful for her life. On occasion she would walk to the Round-Up Saloon with Jeffrey, her constant companion. Jeffrey was a celebrity in his own right, showered with attention, loved and petted by everyone. He was her family. During the last few years of her life, Sherry lost Jeffrey, but her strength persevered and she carried on. There were times of forgetfulness and struggle but her desire to live life to the fullest was remarkable. On Dec. 9, 2020 Sherry Weeks passed away. She was a remarkable chapter in many people’s lives, mine among them.
