Norma Lou Dalton: Sept. 14, 1928 – Feb. 27, 2021

Norma Lou Dalton, 92, of Woodburn, Oregon passed away on February 27, 2021. Norma was born September 14, 1928 to parents Newton and Tuela (Green) Wiest in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She completed high school and married Roy Lavern Dalton July 31, 1953 in Stevenson, Wash. Norma and Roy were married 43 years, until his passing on Sept. 18, 1996. She was a housewife who lived on a rural farm in Creswell most of her life raising five children. She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and sewing. She loved spending time with her family and playing cards with them. She enjoyed meeting with her friends for lunch and visiting garage sales. She loved attending Creswell Presbyterian Church. She was also a big sports fan. Norma is survived by son David and Vanessa Dalton of Curtin, Ore.; daughter Laura Mason of Sheridan, Ore.; daughter Paula Smith of Hubbard, Ore.; daughter Claudia Dalton of Hubbard, Ore.; and daughter, Nancy Dalton of Hubbard, Ore.; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy, sisters Carol Quinn, Sue Anderson and Curtis Mason. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 6 at 1 p.m. at Creswell Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove, Ore.
