William “Will” Lee Neil, 53, of Yoncalla, Oregon, passed at home June 19, 2020, of cancer. Will was born in Cottage Grove, Oregon, on August 13, 1966, to parents Steve and Linda (McCormack) Neil.
He graduated from Yoncalla High School in 1984. Will married Sherry Prince March 19, 2004, in Drain, Oregon. He worked as a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter for Viking Automatic Sprinkler Co. Will loved spending time with family, especially his two grandchildren, LoriJo and Lawson. They were the light of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, home projects, and working on cars and trucks. He cherished time with family and friends.
Will is survived by his wife Sherry Neil, of Oakland, Oregon; daughter Amber Mast of Oakland; daughter Ashley Oberman of Sutherlin, Oregon; brother Mike Neil of Yoncalla; sister Pamela Bergmann of Yoncalla; brother Stevie Neil of West Virginia; and his two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held July 5, 2020 at 2 p.m. at 2429 Boswell Rd., Yoncalla 97499. Please bring a chair for your family. Arrangements in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove.
