Dear Editor,
The last few weeks have been exciting for Friends of the Cottage Grove Carousel. Many doors have opened that tell us we are on the right path of permanently bringing a carousel to South Lane County. The media has been a huge, positive foundation-builder for the Carousel.
I have been fortunate enough to attend nine Rotary meetings in Florence, Albany and Roseburg, as well as Springfield and Eugene to promote the golf tournament fundraiser. Across this vast area, people are aware of the Carousel.
Locally, I have been told several times that they read and watch TV for the positive new adventures of the Carousel, as it is positive. More than one person has commented that it is so refreshing to read the copy. My personal thanks go out to those who have supported us.
