A group of individuals who declined to be identified by name came to support the Springfield-Eugene Pride while representing Looking Glass Community Services, which aims to solve challenges related to educational deficits, behavioral health issues, drug addiction and homelessness. Springfield-Eugene Pride held its first march on Aug. 10. Pride activities have been going strong for 28 years, organizers said, but the march was a new installment this year. This year, there were 130 vendors at the event in Alton Baker Park – double the vendors from last year.
