NoGo – Major road construction is scheduled for this week.

■  Franklin Boulevard (Onyx Street to Agate Street, Eugene): Starting July 8 crews will be working on constructing a Skybridge connecting the Knight Campus to the Lewis Integrative Science Building. Expect road closures. Traffic will be reduced to one lane from 9 to 10 p.m. each evening. From 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., all lanes will be closed to traffic. Construction is expected to last until early September. Use alternate routes.
■ East 20th Avenue (Oak Street to Amazon Parkway, Eugene.): Crews have begun work developing the roadway to connect Oak Street to Amazon Parkway through East 20th Avenue. This section of East 20th Avenue will be closed for the coming weeks. Expect construction crews and equipment in the road.
■ 51st Street (at Riverbend Elementary School, Springfield): Contractors continue to install a raised pedestrian crossing at Riverbend Elementary School on 51st Street between B Street and C Street. Expect road closure. Use the designated detour route. The detour for northbound will be right on B Street, left on 52nd Place, left on D Street. The southbound detour will be left on D Street, right on 52nd Place, right on B Street.

CITY OF EUGENE:
■ West 5th Avenue (Grant Street to Chambers Street): Crews will be striping the road. Expect lane closures and parking restrictions.
East 20th Avenue (Oak Street to Amazon Parkway.): Crews have begun work developing the roadway to connect Oak Street to Amazon Parkway through East 20th Avenue. This section of East 20th Avenue will be closed for the coming weeks. Expect construction crews and equipment in the road.
■ East 29th Avenue (Mill Street to Ferry Street): Crews will begin excavation of concrete street panels with replacement concrete poured the same day, on Monday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastbound traffic will be diverted to the center lane. Watch for flaggers, signs and cones. All work is weather-dependent.
■ Amazon Corridor (Hilyard Street & East Amazon Drive): Excavation will continue on the three bridges which cross the Amazon Channel at East 37th Avenue, East 39th Avenue and Dillard Road. Crews will be at all three locations throughout the week. Expect lane shifts, merging bicycles, and watch for road signs and barricades.
■ Ayers Road (at North Delta Highway intersection): Contractor continues developing Ayers Road to the west of North Delta Highway. In the coming weeks, excavation, concrete work and paving will take place. While this western portion of Ayers Road will be closed, local access will be available at all times through a detour. Follow the signs. The intersection will remain open but expect delays and construction equipment coming and going frequently. Construction is complete for the intersection conversion to a four-way stop. Please use caution while everyone adjusts to the traffic control change.
■ Balfour Street (Terresa Avenue to end of cul-de-sac): Crews will be working on ADA curb ramps. Expect partial road closures. Watch for signs and expect construction crews and equipment in the road.
■ Barger Drive (at North Danebo Avenue): Crews to begin concrete excavation and replacement near the bus stopping area. The work will impact the bike lane; traffic will be shifted to the center lane. Watch for flaggers, cones and signs. Expect minimal delays to traffic. Work is weather-dependent.
■ Bethel Drive (Roosevelt Boulevard to Bell Avenue): Work on wastewater service laterals continues. Expect construction equipment, workers in the roadway, limited on-street parking and lane closures.
Calgary Street (Elanco Avenue to Holly Avenue): Crews will be working on ADA curb ramps. Expect road closures. Watch for signs and expect construction crews and equipment in the road.
■ Charnelton Street (West 4th Avenue to West 6th Avenue): Crews will be striping the road. Expect road closures and parking restrictions. Use alternate routes
■ Charnelton Street (West 13th Avenue to West 14th Avenue): Crews continue excavation and replacement of concrete street panels of southbound lane. That section of street will remain closed until July 8 to allow concrete to cure. Traffic will be shifted to the northbound lane. Watch for flaggers during excavating and pouring, with cones and signs during work and during concrete curing period. Minimal impact to traffic.
■ Cornell Way (at 3970 Cornell Way): Crews will begin sidewalk repairs, with minimal impact to traffic.
■ Delta Ponds Pedestrian Bridge: The bridge will be closed to bicycles and pedestrians for crack-sealing work Monday through Wednesday. Use alternate routes.
Edison Street (Bethel Drive to Trainsong Park): Work on wastewater service laterals continues. Expect construction equipment, workers in the roadway, limited on-street parking and lane closures.
■ Elanco Avenue (Norkenzie Road to end of cul-de-sac): Crews will be working on ADA curb ramps. Expect road closures. Watch for signs and expect construction crews and equipment in the road.
■ Franklin Boulevard (east of Alder Street): Contractor has begun work for the new signalized pedestrian crossing on Franklin Boulevard for the new student housing building. Night work will periodically be occurring when lane closures are needed both directions on Franklin Boulevard. Contractor will also be working within the median. Expect delays and watch for construction traffic entering and leaving Franklin Boulevard.
■ Gilham Road (Intersection of Gilham Road and Terresa Avenue): Crews will be working on ADA curb ramps. Watch for signs and expect construction crews and equipment in the road.
Grant Street (West 5th Avenue to West 4th Avenue): Crews will be striping the road. Expect lane closures and parking restrictions.
Haig Street (Bethel Drive to Wilkie Street): Work on wastewater service laterals continues. Expect construction equipment, workers in the roadway, limited on-street parking and lane closures.
■ Jeppesen Acres Road (Coburg Road to west side of 2495 Jeppesen Acres Road): Crews to begin crack-sealing work Monday through Friday (excluding July 4). Flaggers, workers and vehicles in right-of-way and barricades. Please watch for flaggers directing traffic. All work is weather-dependent.
■ Leo Harris Parkway (entire length): Crews to begin crack-sealing work Monday through Friday (excluding July 4). Flaggers, workers and vehicles in right-of-way and barricades. Please watch for flaggers directing traffic. All work is weather-dependent.
■ Montreal Avenue (Calgary Street to Balfour Street): Crews will be working on ADA curb ramps. Watch for signs and expect construction crews and equipment in the road with road closures.
■ Palomino Drive (at 345 Palomino Drive): Crews will begin sidewalk repairs Monday through Friday with minimal impact to traffic.
■ Potter Street (at 2746 Potter St.): Crews will begin sidewalk repairs through Monday and Tuesday with minimal impact to traffic.
■ Quebec Street (Elanco Avenue to Calgary Street): Crews will be working on ADA curb ramps. Expect partial road closures. Watch for signs and expect construction crews and equipment in the road.
■ Terresa Avenue (Montreal Avenue to Gilham Road): Crews will be working on ADA curb ramps. Expect partial road closures. Watch for signs and expect construction crews and equipment in the road.
■ Villard Street (Franklin Boulevard to north side of East 15th Avenue): Road closed to southbound traffic from Franklin Boulevard for underground utility repairs and general roadway excavation. Use alternate routes.
■ Wilke Street (Haig Street to Edison Street): Work on wastewater service laterals continues. Expect construction equipment, workers in the roadway, limited on-street parking and lane closures.

KNIGHT CAMPUS PROJECT:

EUGENE WATER & ELECTRIC BOARD
■ South Willamette Street (23rd Avenue to 28th Avenue): Crews are installing a new water main and service connections. Expect lane closures and minor delays from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Bikes may need to share travel lanes with motorists in the construction zone.

CITY OF SPRINGFIELD:
■ 51st Street (at Riverbend Elementary School): Contractors continue to install a raised pedestrian crossing at Riverbend Elementary School on 51st Street between B Street and C Street. Expect road closure. Use the designated detour route. The detour for northbound will be right on B Street, left on 52nd Place, left on D Street. The southbound detour will be left on D Street, right on 52nd Place, right on B Street.
■ Thurston Road (Thurston Road and 64th Street by Thurston Middle School): Crews will be installing a Rapid Flashing Beacon pedestrian crossing and ADA improvements. Watch for signs, construction crews and equipment in the street. Expect lane shifts and flaggers at times depending on what phase the work is in.

SPRINGFIELD UTILITY BOARD:
■ S. 57th Street and Camellia Street: Crews will be onsite for a major water transmission line project continuing through Oct. 10. Work will take place Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Expect truck traffic and possible delays on South 58th Street. Please watch for flaggers directing traffic, as detours may be in effect. If possible, look for alternate routes.

LANE COUNTY:
City of Eugene:
■ Coburg Road (M.P. 3.305 to 4.836)Roadway, bridge and ADA work to occur along Coburg Road from Kinney Loop to McKenzie View Drive. Traffic will be shifted using traffic control devices. Bridge work near Armitage Park will occur and night work will likely occur with 24-hour flagging. Trucks and workers will be in the road, so drivers should use caution and slow down through the work zones. Drivers are advised to find alternative routes to avoid delays.
■ Santa Clara/River Road (north of Maxwell Road): Crack seal and vegetation crews will continue prepping streets for an upcoming slurry seal project north of Beltline between Canterbury Street and River Road north of Beltline. Watch for ”no parking” signs as parking restrictions may be implemented.
City of Coburg:
■ Coburg Road (M.P. 6.601 to 7.366): Roadway, water line, sidewalk and ADA curb ramp work to occur along Coburg Road from Vintage Way to Coburg Bottom Loop. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and traffic control devices. Trucks and workers will be in the road, so drivers should use caution and slow down through the work zones. Drivers are advised to find alternative routes to avoid delays.
City of Springfield:
■ Centennial Boulevard (M.P. 0.000 to 0.349), Aspen Street (M.P. 0.000 to 0.181) & Sequoia Avenue (M.P. 0.000 to 0.280): Roadway work to occur relative to a pavement preservation project along Centennial Boulevard between I-5 and Aspen Street, Sequoia Avenue between
■ Aspen Street and Cottonwood Avenue to include the cul-de-sacs, and Aspen Street between Centennial Boulevard and Kellogg Road. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and traffic control devices. Trucks and workers will be in the road. Use alternate routes. Parking restrictions will occur. Check for no parking signs that may impact parking.
■ Anderson Lane (Brandy Way to Rayner Ave.): Roadway work to occur for half street improvements between Brandy Way and Rayner Avenue off of Kellogg Road. Trucks and workers will be in the road. Use alternate routes. Parking restrictions will occur. Check for ”no parking” signs that may impact parking.
Deerhorn/Leaburg:
■ Bridge Street (between Holden Creek Road – MP 0.00 and Deerhorn Road – MP 0.295): Bridge Street Bridge (Bridge No. 39C111) will be closed for a deck replacement and truss painting work from June 17, 2019 through Sept. 1, 2019. Use the Deerhorn Road detour. Deerhorn Park Boat Ramp will also be closed during the bridge closure.
