Owned by Peggy and Dan Grousbeck, Dan’s Plants in Creswell offers Southern Lane County residents beautiful flowers, plants and other outdoor gardening supplies. Not only do they have a variety of hanging flower baskets, pots, vegetables, herbs, potting soil and rose bushes to choose from, but they also sell plants and fish for backyard ponds. Additionally, Dan’s Plants offers a variety of fruit trees, including apple, pear, prune, cherry and peach.
For Easter and spring, Dan’s Plants is offering Easter lilies, ranunculus, dracaenas, mums and pansy baskets. Primrose is only $1 each or customers can choose pansies for only $2 for a six-pack.
Returning for its seventh year, Dan’s Plants Annual Planting Event is Sunday, April 28. This event runs from 1-5 p.m., and their legendary ”Plant Your Own Pot” special is making a return. During this event, customers receive a 12-inch standard pot or hanging pot filled with soil and can visit select greenhouses. For only $18, customers can fill their pot with perennials, annuals, vegetables and whatever else they can fit inside. Additionally, Dan’s Plants is hosting several vendors to offer food and drinks during this event.
