Family owned and operated, Bates Construction and Excavation, LLC is not the average construction company. While Bates Construction was only recently established, owner and operator Ryan Bates has been in the construction industry his entire life. Bates used to help out at his uncle’s concrete company as a child and took away valuable life experience. He is an expert equipment operator and his wife, Laura, would even “trust [Bates] to scoop up a child.” Laura is also involved in the company and runs the business side of things.
Previously, Bates worked for a large company as a foreman for many years, but given his experience and know-how, he started his own business. With his own set of values, Bates Construction and Excavation is family oriented and believes in putting family and integrity above everything else. There are a lot of contracting companies out there, and unfortunately, just as many are in it solely for the money. These companies see only dollar signs, and don’t take their clients’ needs and budget into account. At Bates Construction, however, they never let money stop them from offering their clients high-quality work at a fair price.

Coming this Spring, Bates Construction will be at the 40th Annual Lane County Home and Garden Show at the Lane Events Center in Eugene from March 11 to 13. This event is free and offers Lane County residents the opportunity to meet local business owners, learn more about the companies and take part in fundraisers.
