First woman vice president is Libra-Dragon

A reader asked me to describe the astrological profile of Kamala Harris, the first woman U.S. vice president who also has Black and Asian heritage. Our vice president was born under the sun sign Libra during the lunar Year of the Dragon.

Individuals born during the Year of the Dragon often have a direct and aggressive approach and tend to be outspoken. However, Libra-born Dragons have a gentler approach, glowing with charisma and charm. A Libra-Dragon seeks peace and harmony. Dragons truly want the best for all people, and often devote their life to justice and equality for all, especially the most vulnerable.

Dragons do not like violence, but they will peacefully battle injustice.

Holocaust survivor and activist Elie Wiesel was born under the sign Libra-Dragon, as well as musician John Lennon, who expressed his beliefs about peace, equality, and justice through his lyrics. Martin Luther King, Jr. was born under the sign Capricorn-Dragon. He devoted his life to fighting for civil rights, and did it without using violence. Actor Keanu Reeves was born under the sign Virgo-Dragon, and often expresses a non-violent quest for equality, fairness, and the support of those who are most vulnerable. Talk-show hosts Stephen Colbert, a Taurus-Dragon, and Hoda Kotb, a Leo-Dragon, speak out and pursue justice. Authors Joseph Campbell and Beverly Cleary were both Aries-Dragons, and TV icon Fred Rogers was a Pisces-Dragon.

Harris’ sign is strong, kind, and determined. Her sign indicates she will work for justice with compassion and sincerity. When a Libra-Dragon pursues an interest in politics, it is to truly make a difference and help change the world for the better.
