Today, I want to wish “Happy Birthday” to my beautiful mother, Ruth Kinsman Smith Cody Ward. She would have been 103 years of age today — Friday, Sept. 28. We lost her on Jan. 4, 2012 at the age of 96, but she is so vibrantly alive in my heart that she seems to be with me still.
