Pleasant Hill High School graduate Jackson Bertsch was selected in the 29th round of the Major League Baseball Draft last week by the New York Yankees. Bertsch was a star player on the Pleasant Hill 2013 State 3A championship team. After high school he played baseball for Lane Community College and Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
