Gregor Max Roessle - Dec. 12, 1931 – Dec. 17, 2019

Gregor Max Roessle, 88, of Anza, Calif., passed away in Cottage Grove, Ore., on Dec. 17, 2019.

Gregor was born to parents Max and Louise Roessle on Dec. 12, 1931 in Koeln, Germany. He was the owner of Golden State Paint Company in Southgate, Calif. for over 20 years.

Gregor loved good German beer, talking politics, and was a doting husband and grandfather. He traveled the world with his wife, including Canada, Germany, the Rhine River, Alaska, Portugal, Mexica, Hawaii and South America, and took his wife, Heidi, to the Sydney Opera House, which was her lifelong dream.

He and Heidi (Hedwig Koch) were married on Dec. 26, 1956 in Mendt, Germany and would have been married for 63 years in a few days.

Gregor is survived by his loving wife, Heidi; siblings Gunther and Anmarie; grandchildren Jeanet and Evan; and great grandchildren Asher James, Diaae Ava Nadine, Gracen Kyler and Owen Greg.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Eva and Gabrielle, and great-grandson Xander Max Bryon. A memorial service was held on Dec. 22 at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove.
