$2,500 closer to Old Schoolhouse restoration

CRESWELL - Since 2017, a group of Creswell volunteers in Creswell Heritage Foundation have been fundraising to restore the century-old Old Schoolhouse and return it to public use. This year, the foundation replaced the front porch and foundation of the building. The next phase for 2020 is exterior restoration, which includes sidings, windows and trim on the old building. Last week, Weyerhaeuser Representative Brent Czaban dropped by the building at 195 S. 2nd St. to present the foundation with a $2,500 check to assist with exterior restoration project efforts.
