Volleyball honors seniors; playoffs are this week

Although they blitzed the Eagles 25-14 in the first set, the Lady Bulldogs volleyball team ultimately fell to second-ranked Santiam Christian 1-3 on Oct. 16, dropping the remaining sets 20-25, 17-25 and 21-25.

"I think we took them by surprise and earned their respect in that first set, but after that we lost our focus and made a lot of unforced errors," said Creswell Head Coach Anna Baltrusch. "Our serve-return was not very good - that's what hurt us most."
