A Creswell man pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon on Sept. 11 at Lane County Circuit Court, following a stabbing in town earlier this year.

Lane County Sheriff's Office arrested Jacob Albert Laskey, 38, of Creswell on Jan. 19 after stabbing his friend Devin Reid Wolfe, 41, of Creswell, in his hand during a dispute at Creswell Mobile Home Park. Wolfe reportedly underwent surgery for the stabbing injury.

Laskey and his family operate Wolfclan Armory, a military surplus store that relocated from 287 S. Front St. in Creswell to Cottage Grove in March 2018.
