Heritage Foundation awarded $20K

Funds will help restore Old Schoolhouse

The Creswell Heritage Foundation (CHF) has received a $20,000 grant from Oregon Heritage, a division of Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.

CHF is raising funds for the restoration of Creswell's Old Schoolhouse. The first phase of the restoration is the replacement of the foundation and the porch floor and railing. The Preserving Oregon grant funds will be used for this project, which is expected to take place in 2019. It is a matching grant, which means that CHF must match the $20,000 with an equivalent amount in material, services or cash.
