OSP seeks public assistance regarding poached black-tailed doe

On May 25, 2018, Newport Fish and Wildlife troopers were called to an area outside of Toledo to investigate a poached deer. Investigation has shown the deer was shot in the head with a small-caliber rifle. The remains of the deer were located on Sunnyridge Road near 1000 Line Road.

A reward of up to $500 is offered for information leading to the issuance of a citation to a person(s) or an arrest made in this case. The reward is comprised of $500 from the Oregon Hunting Association Turn-In-poachers (TIP) program.
