Pleasant Hill held off a late Harrisburg rally and edged the visiting Eagles 6-5 for its first Mountain Valley League softball win.

The Billies gave up a run in the top of the first, but took the lead for good with three in the bottom.

Kylee Holsted doubled, Naomi O'Connor walked and Quiana Beckes singled to load the bases. Shelby McGuire drew a bases-loaded walk for the first run, then Taylor Davis singled to plate two more for a 3-1 lead.

Arika Schenfeld walked to reload the bases, but the Billies couldn't add to their total.
