Pedestrians take their lives into their hands crossing Oregon Avenue

I am amazed about the lack of painted pedestrian markings at the Oregon Avenue intersections.

I asked the city public works supervisor about this, what I consider a safety problem. His reply was that the concrete slabs took care of needing other markings. Maybe it takes care of satisfying the requirement but it doesn’t fill the need.
