Founded by The Byler Family in 1991, Saginaw Vineyard has been blessing residents of Lane County with high-quality, locally made wine ever since. Scott Byler, the chief winemaker and vineyard operator, offers customers over fifteen varieties of wine to choose from, and creates his traditional, grape and berry varieties on-site. Karen Byler is the event coordinator and manages events, parties and the tasting room.
Two different Red Barn Wine Club memberships are available, and feature significant discounts on bottles and events throughout the year. The silver membership offers three bottles per quarter and 20 percent discounts on wine. The gold membership increases to six bottles per quarter and a staggering 25 percent discount on wine.
Both memberships offer one dollar off glass pours, and Scott picks out new and unique bottles of wine for quarterly releases, ensuring something exciting every time. Each quarterly release party features five complimentary wine tastings, dinner, live music and games.
Every Friday night, Saginaw Vineyard hosts Friday Night LIVE!, which is open to the public year-round. Dinner is available for purchase from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and features a new entrée and dessert every week. Saginaw Vineyard even welcomes outside dinner baskets and has wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks and bottled water available for purchase. This is a 21 and older event, so schedule a babysitter for the kids.
Saginaw Vineyard features both indoor and outdoor venues, making it the perfect place, any time of the year. There are numerous upcoming events at Saginaw Vineyard, including Coupe De Ville on July 13, Inner Limits on July 20 and, last but not least, The Huckleberrys on July 27.
