Host families needed for exchange students attending CHS

Creswell High School is seeking host families willing to open their hearts and homes to exchange students from Spain.
Host families are needed for three weeks, from Sept. 4 through Sept. 25.
Greenheart Exchange, the agency coordinating these visits, has been a leader in foreign exchange programs since 1985. Greenheart Exchange offers cultural exchange programs in the United States that connect Americans with international students, and believes in supporting global leaders through exchanges, volunteer work fundraisers and summer camps.
One of the greatest gifts you can give your children and community is the gift of friendship and a mutual sharing of cultures. Host families and exchange students often form close bonds and continue to correspond and visit each other for many years.
For me, it all started when I hosted my first exchange student from China. Thirty years later I am creating programs and bring diversity into the community. My passion has led me to offer programs all over Oregon and California, including academic school year programs, independent short stays and school-to-school programs.
How lucky am I that I now have family all over the world!
If you are interested in learning more about becoming a host family for Creswell High School in September, please contact local coordinator Sandra Chavez at 541-942-9638 or [email protected].
