Delmar ”Bud” Edwin Fisher

Delmar ”Bud” Edwin Fisher, 89, of Creswell passed away May 24, 2018.
Bud was born Jan. 11, 1929, in Goshen to Lawrence and Cora (Neal) Fisher. He graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1947.
Soon after he graduated from high school, he married Joy Parrish; they had four children and later divorced. He then married Bernice Stockdale on July 18, 1964 and they were married for 52 years. He worked for Weyerhaeuser as an off-highway truck driver for 29 years and retired in 1986.
Bud enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and woodworking, but he mostly enjoyed spending time with his loved ones.
He was a member of the Dorena Grange and the Western Oregon Exposition. Bud is survived by two daughters, Melody (Robert) Davidson of Goldendale, Washington and Denise (Dan) Brown of Cottage Grove; son Tim (Julie) Fisher of Eugene; sister Mildred Boyce of Cottage Grove; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Joy Parrish and Bernice Fisher; son Robin Fisher; brother Bill Fisher; sister Marion Strong; and grandson Christopher Edwards.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Fir Grove Cemetery.
