Police seek info on Monday’s armed robbery

On Monday, May 21, shortly after 8:30 p.m., the Lane County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) received a report of a robbery in the 200 block of N. Mill Street in Creswell.
Initial investigation indicates that three white males between the ages of 20 and 35 donned masks and forced their way into an apartment where a 54-year-old female from Junction City, a 65-year-old male from Creswell and a 72-year-old female from Newport were inside.
The suspects were reportedly armed with handguns and restrained the 54-year-old female and 72-year-old female’s hands. The suspects threatened the victims if they did not comply and fled the residence with an undisclosed amount of property, including a military knife collection. The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the incident.
The suspects fled in an older-model, white sport utility vehicle.
Deputies are speaking with local residents who may have witnessed the incident to help provide a more detailed description of the suspects.
LCSO is asking anyone who has information on the identity and location of the three men responsible for the robbery to contact the LCSO at 541-682-4141.
