SPRINGFIELD – The Springfield Alliance for Equity and Respect (SAfER), a CALC program, is is celebrating 25 years of working for social justice in Springfield. In partnership with the Willamalane Park and Recreation District, there will be a family-friendly bash on Sunday, Aug. 14, called “Fiesta con Nuestros Vecinos.” The event will be held at Tyson Park, 3405 E. St., Springfield, from 3-5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14. There will be live music, children’s activities, and a mural painting activity. The organization also hopes to have licensed snack vendors.
