Patricia “Pat” Putman, 88, of Cottage Grove, Ore. passed away June 29, 2022. Pat was born October 21, 1933 in Wardner, Idaho to parents Franklin and Doris (McCarver) Ballard. She married Clyde Putman on September 22, 1949 in Baker, Ore. Pat was a stay-at-home mother, raising her four children.
She liked oil painting, tole painting, and working in her yard tending to her yard and flowers. Pat loved to go camping with her family, but most of all she enjoyed traditional holiday meals with her large family. Family was everything to Pat. Clyde and Pat were Moose Lodge members for over 30 years.
Pat is survived by her husband of 72 years, Clyde of Cottage Grove; son Dale (Terree) Putman of Bend, Ore.; daughter Jeanette (Kevin) Pillow of Cottage Grove; son Ken (Nancy) Putman of Creswell, Ore.; son Kevin (Kathy) Putman of Cottage Grove; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings Verna, Loueen and Don and a great-granddaughter Madison.
A visitation was held July 5 at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel. A funeral service was held July 6, 2022 at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel. Interment was at Brumbaugh Cemetery.
