Updates from Creswell Heritage Foundation

IMAGE PROVIDED

On March 15, Creswell Heritage Foundation (CHF) became the owner of the Old Schoolhouse with a brief, well-attended ceremony in front of the building. Pictured from left are Mayor Dave Stram, CHF board members Don Ehrich and Larry Schrenk goofing off at the ceremony. CHF is now working to expose some of the south side to provide access to Architect Susan Licht, who will create drawings and specs for the foundation replacement. CHF will then cover the southside with Tyvek, a synthetic material used to protect buildings during construction. CHF also received a $500 gift card from Jerry’s Home Improvement for the materials for this work and $2,500 grant from the Kinsman Foundation toward the work being done by Licht. CHF is keeping a list of ”100 First Supporters” to recognize those who have helped us since we began. Paul Birch has donated $50 and challenges others to get on the list by matching it. Contributions can be sent to CHF, P.O. Box 1092, Creswell, OR 97426.
