Great-great grandchildren Levi & Elliot Carr.

And many, many others who called her either Mom or Grandma.

She grew up in California and spent many summers in Clear Lake running to and swimming in the lake there. She had many stories to tell us. She moved to Oregon with her husband and children to a ranch in Crow. Her fondest memories were of this time.

She was very involved with her kids as she was a room mother to probably every class.

As the kids grew she became involved in the sports events that took place; sometimes you could hear her screaming for everyone on the team. Especially wrestling, she loved the kids that called her Mom.

Her next favorite thing had to be rodeo, starting with the Eugene Rodeo she was actively involved with the Eugene JC’s in the 1970’s the stories she would tell. When her grandson Kenny started riding it was hard to keep her in the stands when he was on a horse.

She loved sewing, knitting and other crafts and spent many hours at craft shows.

Her greatest Joy was her grandchildren where each and every one of them has received one of her hood bath towels. Whenever the announcement was “Hey, we’re expecting” her first thought was I have to make them a towel.

She worked as an office manager and bookkeeper during her later years where she met so many new people that became her friends. Whenever she would go somewhere she always knew somebody in the crowd.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Ethel and grandsons Joseph Howell, Andrew & Isaiah Young and granddaughters Hayley and Gracey Howell.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Justincowboycrisisfund.org because she did love her cowboys.
