Thomas passed away peacefully at home at the age of 89. Thomas was born Nov. 16, 1932, in Hatfield, Ark., to Gaylord and Freddie Griffin. He married Dorothy Koch Dec. 15, 1956, in Stevenson, Wash. He served three years in the U.S. Army, where he received the National Defense Service medal, Army Occupation medal (Germany) and Good Conduct medal.
He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his daughters Tommy Kite, Sharon Wilson and Karen Cromwell, and his sister Pauline Lane, and grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy, parents Gaylord and Freddie Griffin, sister Opal, and son Larry. A graveside service will be held March 12 at 1 p.m. at Creswell Pioneer Cemetery.
