Harold E. Solesbee
Harold E. Solesbee, 75, of Creswell passed away on March 16, 2018.
He was born on July 4, 1942 in Murphy, North Carolina to Jerry and Annice (Kephart) Solesbee.
Harold married Janice M. Woody on Feb. 6, 1962 in Cottage Grove.
Harold was a lifelong logger who enjoyed working both in the woods and with wood. He began his career with Bohemia Lumber Company, followed by various other logging companies which eventually led him to start his own. He had a love and passion for fishing and spending time with his family.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Janice Solesbee of Creswell; two sons, Kevin Solesbee (Lori) of Cottage Grove and Jeff Solesbee (Sheri) of Prineville; daughter DeAnna Bartolini (Dan) of Katy, Texas; two brothers, Hubert Solesbee of Roseburg and Lowell Solesbee of Cottage Grove; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel of Cottage Grove.
