Ray Steven “Steve” Brown, 70, of Eugene passed away Aug. 28, 2021 of cancer. His wife was by his side.
Steve was born Sept. 2, 1950 to Ray and Anamaye (Nelson) Brown in Roseburg, Ore. He graduated from Cottage Grove High School, then went to serve his country in the Vietnam War.
Steve loved his family, fast cars, loud music and his dog Scooter. He is survived by his wife Debra “Debbie” (Walls) Brown, of Eugene; brother Rick (Viki) Brown, of Dorena; sister Sandy (Randy) Crites, of Cottage Grove; brother (NB) Dan (Tammy) Honza, of Drain and numerous nieces and nephews. Steve is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Anne Brown, brother Dale Brown and (NB) brother Keith Bowers.
A celebration will be held Saturday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. at 252 Upper Smith River Road in Drain. Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove.
