Rebecca Demarais passed away suddenly on July 14, 2021 in Creswell, Ore. at the age of 76.
Rebecca was born in Eugene, Ore. in 1944 to Clifford and Sydney. She was the youngest of four girls.
Rebecca graduated from North Eugene High School in 1964 and served briefly in the United States Marine Corps, before starting a family and marrying the love of her life Dale in 1968.
After marrying, Rebecca enjoyed many years traveling the world with Dale as he served in the United States Air Force. She lived in Italy, Texas, Greece, Washington, Belgium, California and Oregon.
Along the way, Rebecca raised three boys and helped them proudly through scouts to the rank of eagle. In her spare time, she loved to sew, collect crystal figurines, and other collectables. She was selfless and dedicated to family and friends.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her father Clifford, and one sister Suzanne, She is survived by her mother Sydney; two sisters Phyllis and Edith; three sons Charles, James, and Arthur; eight grandkids and six great-grandkids.
Rebecca recently said she would “go to Heaven” when she died, so now she has been reunited with the love of her life, Dale.
Funeral services were held on August 29, 2021 at 225 South Danebo Avenue, Eugene, Ore., 97402.
