Creswell senior forward Karley Bellew was named Player of the Year and three other Lady Dawgs also garnered nods when 3A Mountain Valley Conference All-League teams for the 2017-18 season were announced last week.
Junior forward/post Bailey Howell was also named to the MVC First Team. Senior guard Cali Allen was named to the Second Team and senior guard Aleesha Fox received Honorable Mention.
Joining Bellew and Howell on the MVC First Team are sophomore post Morgan Baird of Coquille, senior guard Stephanie Pelkey of Harrisburg, Victoria Lewis of Pleasant Hill and junior guard Hannah Way of Pleasant Hill.
Joining Allen on the Second Team are senior wing Whitney Stone of Glide, junior post Abbey Dieu of Coquille, junior wing Halle Layton of Coquille, freshman guard Angeni Yeo of Pleasant Hill, junior guard Cortney Wolf of La Pine and senior wing McKenna Wilson of Coquille.
Receiving Honorable Mention along with Fox were senior wing Joselyn Kaufman of Coquille, senior forward Rebecca Peasley of Pleasant Hill, senior post Mallory Campbell of Harrisburg, senior post Alexis Thomas of Harrisburg, senior guard Allison Michel of Glide and junior post Haily Hinkle of La Pine.
Tim GeDeros, head coach of the League Champion Coquille Red Devils, was named Mountain Valley Conference Coach of the Year.
