Kassandra “Kassi” Lee Kale Sanders, 33, of Cottage Grove, Ore., passed away on June 1, 2021. She was born March 26, 1988, in Sunnyside, Ore., to parents Kenneth and Stephanie (Dixon) Sanders. Kassi graduated from Cottage Grove High School. She worked at Headstart in Cottage Grove as an aid with young children. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially in the summer, camping. Kassi enjoyed creating craft projects with her daughter Hadley. She was passionate about her daughter and making the best life for her.
Kassi is survived by her parents, Kenneth Sanders and step-mother Ronda Drouin, Stephanie Sanders; daughter Hadley Sanders of Creswell, Ore.; brother Robbie (Jordan) Sanders of Creswell; brother Frank (Alicia) Sanders of Cottage Grove; and brother Steven (Taylor) Sanders of Cottage Grove, OR; and grandparents Barbara Sanders, Sandra Kale. A graveside service was held on June 12, 2021 at Fir Grove Cemetery, Cottage Grove. A Celebration of Life was at 33112 Camas Swale Rd., Creswell, OR 97426. Arrangements in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove.
