Janice “Jan” M. Solesbee, 74, of Creswell, Ore. passed away on May 12, 2021.
She was born on Aug. 22, 1946 in Cottage Grove to parents Hosea and Edna (Allen) Woody. Jan married Harold Eugene Solesbee on Feb. 6, 1962 in Cottage Grove. They were married for 56 years. Jan knew no strangers. She loved to bake and garden, but especially loved spending time with her family, children and grandchildren. She attended the Delight Valley Church of Christ.
Jan is survived by her son Jeff Solesbee and wife Sheri, Prineville, Ore.; son Kevin Solesbee and wife Lori, Cottage Grove; daughter DeAnna Bartolini and husband Dan, Prineville; siblings, Harold, Merle, Alma, Mozelle, Judy, Shirley and Rachel; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 5 at the Delight Valley Church of Christ. Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove.
