Jane Ellingson, 83, of Cottage Grove, Ore. passed away on May 16, 2021.
Jane was born on March 3, 1938 in Portland to Roy and Amelia (Zimmerman) Schaffer.
Jane worked as a nursing aide in hospitals and nursing homes. She was an excellent seamstress and gardener. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Jane married Jack Ellingson on Dec. 12, 1955. They were married for 61 years when he preceded her in death.
Jane is survived by her children: Darcy Zenter, Grace Haight, Karen Ellingson and John Ellingson along with eight grandchildren. A service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove.
