Olsa Lucille Scott: Oct. 20, 1936 – April 8, 2021

Olsa Scott was born Oct. 20, 1936 to parents Oscar and Alfhild Alexander. She was born in Bronnoysund, Norway and came with her family by ship at the age of 11. She is a Hitler survivor. 

She was married to Harold Scott who passed away on Oct. 4, 1987. She was a cheerleader at Creswell High School and has lived in Creswell since she was 13. She worked for Willamette Poultry and Creswell Dairy Queen. 

She loved family barbecues and get togethers and she loved all animals, especially her German shepherd Thor. Olsa enjoyed dancing and spending time with friends.

Olsa was preceded in death by her son Michael Scott and her brothers and sisters Laila Workman, Victor Alexander, Lucille Marquiess and Violet Thompson. Olsa is survived by her children Lucy and John Carlson, Richard Scott, Doug and Angie Scott and Tracy and Sheila Scott; and also her brother and sister Willy and Jerie Alexander. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Olsa on May 22 at 1:30 p.m. at the Creswell VFW Hall, 111 10th St. in Creswell.
