Wise Woman Herbals (WWH), a professional product line comprised of over 325 botanical supplements that are handmade at their herbal manufacturing facility here in Creswell, has expanded their business onto Oregon Avenue.
WWH has been located at 185 Mill St. for a number of years and opened next door at 155 Mill St. in 2016. But now in 2018, these two locations are again bursting at the seams, Sonya Carlson, WWH director of business operations, said. They moved three administrative departments over to the Cuddeback-owned building at 275 Oregon Ave. in late January.
WWH is an organically certified company that manufactures botanical supplements for practitioners all over the country. A lot of their business is based in the Pacific Northwest and they deal directly with naturopath doctors, Carlson said.
WWH offers botanical products that help support digestive systems; eyes, ears and mouth care; glandular and lymphatic systems; heart and circulatory systems; immune systems; liver and gallbladder support; nervous systems; nose, throat and respiration health; and skin and musculoskeletal systems, to name a few.
Their products come in several types – botanical oils, elixirs, encapsulated, essential oils, glycerites and liquid extracts; salves; solid extracts; sprays; suppositories; syrups; teas; topicals; and vinegar compounds. Many other compounds can be made as well.
WWH employs over 40 employees, having more than doubled their staff in the last year, Carlson said. With their rapid expansion, WWH is taking on new customers and looking to expand their product line.
”We will have new products coming out this year and we are also revamping our website, which will be launched in a few months,” Carlson said.
A portion of WWH’s products can be ordered by the public through their website.
Carlson said that WWH is still looking for a storefront for sometime in the future, but their focus is keeping up with their ever-increasing manufacturing demands.
”It’s been a fun time to be at Wise Woman Herbals,” Carlson said.
