Phyllis Marie Tharp

Phyllis Marie Tharp, 96, of Creswell passed away Feb. 7, 2018.
Phyllis was born Nov. 11, 1921, in Creswell, Oregon to John and Francis (Perry) Wullschleger.
Phyllis graduated from Creswell High School. She was a waitress at the Penguin Café and worked for 25 years at the Goshen Truck Stop where she was well known for her hospitality; she then retired from there.
Phyllis enjoyed all kinds of music; dancing; baking pies, cookies and cakes; jumble puzzles from the newspapers; and spending time with family and visiting with people.
She is survived by her son Gary (Roberta) Tharp, of Creswell, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, brother John Wullschleger, sister Wilma Howard, son Ronald Tharp and grandson Ryan Tharp.
