Richard Albert Lambert, 51, was called from this life on Feb. 6, 2021. He was born on Sept. 25, 1969 in Bend, Ore.
Richard grew up in Silver Lake, Ore. While in high school, Richard competed on the school wrestling team. He graduated from Oakridge High School in 1989. After school, Richard moved to the Eugene -Springfield area where he went on to work as a machine operator at the Zip-O-Log Mills in Eugene.
Richard was an avid outdoorsman and had a deep love of nature. He enjoyed canoeing, fishing, camping, and hiking and did so whenever he could. Richard was also very artistic and enjoyed woodcarving. One of his favorite things to do was carving walking sticks for family and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his father Doyle Lambert and a brother and sister. Richard is survived by his mother, Mary Ellen, and two sisters, LouEllen Lambert and Lois Watkins, and many nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, Richard is being cremated.
The family is planning to have a celebration of life later this year in the summer. More information will follow once a date and location have been selected.
