Lonnie Jay Davis: April 30, 1950 – Jan. 16, 2021

Lonnie Jay Davis, born in Kalispell, Mont., passed away at home in Pocatello, Idaho at the age of 70.

Lonnie moved with his family to Oregon as a young boy and spent most of his life in Creswell, Ore. He retired and moved to Idaho a few years ago to be close to his only son Lonnie and wife Trish. Dad loved to go on long drives and enjoyed the open road and scenery. If by chance he could get “little” Lonnie in the driver’s seat of his sports car it quickly became the perfect day filled with memories.

He was loved by many family and friends that found him easy to talk to for hours and he cherished those phone calls and relationships. He showed his love by giving you a quick poke in the ribs or a pat on the back of your head which brought him laughter when you questioned what the heck he was doing.

He was preceded in death by his parents Emmett (1963) and Lucille Davis (1998) along with sisters Gloria and Lynda.

Survivors include his daughters Mechelle Clough, Toni Davis and son Lonnie W. Davis. Siblings: Diane Dulaney-Kast, Dallas Davis, Geri Davis, Marci Chapman and Kelly Davis. Grandkids: Cody Davis, Ryan Kastrava, Aaron Kastrava, Alyson Felkel, Emily Davis and two great-grandchildren Kingly and Felicity Kastrava.

He loved the Oregon coast, and the family will fulfill his wish of it being his final resting place and no service will be held. Services provided by Cornelison Funeral Home & Cremations in Pocatello, Idaho.
