Tina Marie (Chartier) Mercurio, 48, of Springfield, passed away Dec. 4, 2020, due to complications with epilepsy.
Tina was born Feb. 1, 1972, in Gold Beach, Ore., to Diana Melvin and Jerry R. Chartier, Sr.
She graduated from high school in Barstow, California, and would go on to pursue higher education at Lane Community College. Tina married George Ficenec, had son Nicholas, and they divorced. She then entered the Army, met Nicholas Mercurio, and they married and started their family. They had two children, Merlin and Nicholas Jr.
She liked to watch current events, quilt, and spend time with her beloved and treasured dachshunds.
Tina is survived by her husband, Nicholas Mercurio, four kids, two grandkids, parents Diana & Jerry, siblings & a multitude of cousins, nieces and nephews.
There are currently no services planned. Donations can be made in her memory to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or K9s for Warriors.
