There was a stabbing reported at Meadowlark RV Park at 298 E. Oregon Ave. last Friday involving two Creswell men, according to reports from Lane County Sheriff’s Office (LSCO).
Deputies responded and identified Jacob Laskey, 37, of Creswell, as a suspect to the stabbing. Laskey and his family operate Wolfclan Armory, a military surplus store at 287 S. Front St. in Creswell.
Laskey had reportedly fled the RV park before deputies arrived, but was located in Springfield shortly thereafter, police said.
The victim, a 41-year-old white Creswell man, received medical attention for his injuries, police said.
The victim and Laskey reportedly knew each other prior to the incident on Jan. 19, police said.
Laskey was arrested and lodged at the Lane County Jail for second-degree assault, menacing, unlawful use of a weapon and second-degree criminal trespassing, two of which are felonies.
Laskey spent 11 years in prison for throwing swastika-etched bricks through Temple Beth Israel in Eugene and was released in late 2015, records indicate.
There are no indicators that this crime was motivated by bias, police said.

An initial press release from Lane County Sheriff’s Office listed Meadowlark RV Park as the location of a stabbing in Creswell on Jan. 19; however, a statement was later issued by LSCO, correcting the location of the incident to be at Creswell Mobile Home Park.
