June Elaine McGoldrick Clark passed away October 27, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones.
June was born Sept. 2, 1927, in Los Angeles, California, to Leslie McGoldrick and Alice Louise Braun McGoldrick. She attended and graduated from Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles. She attended AV College and Cottage Grove College. She married Harold Cameron Clark, Sr. in May 1945 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
June is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Cameron Clark, Sr., and eldest son, Harold (Skip) Cameron Clark, Jr.
June is survived by daughter, Kathleen Frost; son, Allen Clark, (spouse Frankie); Vera Clark (Skip); 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
June and Harold moved to Cottage Grove from Lancaster, Calif., in 1980. She and Harold owned C&C Optical in Cottage Grove. She has been past President of Auxiliary at Cottage Grove Hospital, past President of Peace Health Auxiliary, past President of the Antelope Valley Hospital Auxiliary and belonged to the Assistance League of Antelope Valley, Calif.
She volunteered at the Humane Society of Cottage Grove at the This-n-That Thrift Shop for many years. She also worked in the Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce.
Her heart’s passions, apart from her family, were her cats, Midgen and Toosie, her pet raccoon, Midas, and her roses.
June was greatly loved and respected for her sense of service to the Cottage Grove Community. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Humane Society of Cottage Grove or your choice of charity. Arrangements in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove, Ore.
