Pleasant Hill finished fourth in a 17-team wrestling tournament Saturday at Junction City.
Freshman Asher Ruchti won the 126-pound bracket. Ruchti finished first in his pool, then used a 52-second quarterfinal pin followed by a 1:26 win in the semis and 6-1 decision in the finals.
Samuel Baker was fourth at 126, winning a 15-0 technical fall and an 11-second pin followed by a 2:00 pin to reach the semis.
Blaine Rodolf reached the 138-pound championship match and took second. Rodolf won by a 16-1 technical fall and 2:39 pin in pool action, then recorded 2:28 and 41-second pins in the quarter- and semi-final rounds, respectively.
Ethan Litson placed fifth at 113 pounds, rebounding with a 5:34 pin and 18-1 technical fall. Preston Nesbitt was seventh at 113 pounds.
Thomas Bardgett used a 3:21 quarterfinals pin to reach the semis and placed fourth at 132 pounds.
Grant Hardy used an 18-11 decision to finish fifth at 145 pounds.
Logan Parrish recorded a pair of pins to finish ninth at 152 pounds.
Rowan VonOrtloff pinned his pool opponents in 41 seconds, 1:44 and 2:17, then lost in the semis before winning the 160-pound third-place match 11-8.
Kellen Parrish was seventh at 195 pounds.
Isabelle Rodolf used 2:32, 3:17 and 4:16 pins to win the girls’ A division.
Jaesa Ruchti went 4-1 and finished second in the girls’ B bracket. She recorded 1:33 and 3:07 pins and 8-3 and 8-4 decisions.
The Billies travel to Cottage Grove for a Saturday tourney.
