CMS, Creslane offers “opportunity to improve”

Extra help is available for students at Creslane Elementary School and Creswell Middle School. The middle school is offering a new club, “Opportunity to Improve,” for students who need extra help completing their assignments, and they can get help from three certified staff members. It is open to sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students. The club runs from 10:45 a.m. to noon Wednesdays. Email Mrs. Heater at [email protected]

Creslane is offering academic support in the evenings with “Creslane Evening Homework Help.” Teachers are available from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays to support Creslane students and parents with math and reading. The link to sign up is posted on the Creslane school website.

A3 moves with ‘intention’

The staff and students at the Academy of Arts and Academics have chosen an “intention” word this year for something they want to focus on and strive for in their daily lives. Everyone’s words will be stamped on bracelets “So our community can all wear something in common,” the Facebook post on the A3 page said. The academy has also created a video with staff members where they talk about the words of intention they have chosen. That video is available on their Facebook page.
