Creswell shooting suspect still at large

CRESWELL – Wesley Fredrick Roy Jr., a suspect in a shooting Tuesday night of a man in the 81000 block of Davisson Road in Creswell, remains on the loose and Lane County Sheriff’s Office officials say he is armed and dangerous.

“As of right now there is nothing more” to report, Sgt. Scott Denham said early Thursday morning. “Detectives had to go to sleep after being out all night. We have several different areas we are watching, but that is it.”

Roy, 40, is described as 5-foot-11, approximately 225 pounds with brown eyes and short, brown hair. He has been known to drive a 1993 white Audi A90 sedan and frequents the South Lane County area. Additionally, Roy is a suspect in multiple unrelated cases involving felony domestic violence. 

Deputies are seeking help finding his whereabouts. Residents can 541-682-4150 then press 1 and reference case #20-6371. Because Roy is considered armed and dangerous, law enforcement stresses that people should not attempt to contact or apprehend the suspect
