Beryl Madeline Johansen, 94, of Springfield, Oregon, passed away June 19, 2020.
Beryl was born in Birmingham, England to James and Gladys Youel on Feb. 12, 1926. She married John Johansen in Crowland Abby, Lincolnshire in October 1959.
John and Beryl came back to Eugene where John grew green beans for the Eugene Fruit Growers for many years. John died in July of 1990.
She was a homemaker, loved animals and enjoyed working in her garden.
Beryl was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Springfield, where she was a volunteer worker for many years.
Funeral will be on Thursday, June 25 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 2537 Game Farm Road in Springfield. Her final resting place will be Rest-Haven Memorial Park.
